Wow Jourdan Dunn and Sacha M'Baye 4 Burberry S/S 2011 campaign

Because I haven’t always been able to fit into (afford) designer gear -I sometimes indulge my little man and buy one or two pieces a year from designers that feature black models/peoples in their adverts (you know what I mean -people). Even though over the years I’ve spied some lovely pieces in Burberry’s children collection -like Evian water (I avoided it until I saw a new advert featuring babies models of colour) -I‘m now up for buying their goods. -And that’s all down to the latest Burberry S/S 2011 campaign. -It stars uber beautiful models, Jourdan Dunn and Sacha M'Baye and I’m impressed….ok -honestly, I think its about bloody time! Sususu Gossip about our Jourdan is whirling in the 'land of Blog' -and it's left me feeling, erm......kind of ...like....- I felt; -when the [very] young Jamelia got pregnant at the [very] beginning of her sing career!! Our Jourdan [the only black British model who is really working] -is rumoured to be pregnant -and I am exhausted, -she is only 19. Anyway, God Bless her and her baby [-if its true] and hopefully, she will bounce right back, -and return to the catwalk]. I will keep you posted. Model of the month: Lyndsey Scott

Not since the since the excitement over Jourdan Dunn at Prada (a few seasons ago)- has there been such a buzz about a new black model. The model in question is 17 year old Lyndsey Scott (Click Management) and the show -(the usually paler than pale) Calvin Klein A/W 09. Even though Lyndsey didn't open or close the show; she was given an exclusive with Calvin Klein. Here's hoping that Calvin Klein will do for her career, what it did for past recipients like Kate Moss and Natalia Vodianova. I love Lyndsey and can't wait to see what the future holds for her (as far as I'm concerned -she is the future of fashion).
